This is a new painting. It is an acrylic on wood and it is done with paints that are very light reactive. It seems to glow at certain times of the day! This idea was inspired by looking at fire light cast on cave paintings which is quite magical. The animals come to life, and so does this one!

This is another light reactive painting done with interference paints. With light on the panting it is quite stunning how the colors mix and blend as you move around the work. The added element of the play on light increases the illusion of 3 dimensionality. There is another dimension from the landscape that weaves in and out of the painting, that makes it all the more other worldly.
